Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504

The University of Dallas will not exclude or impede an otherwise qualified individual with disability, by sole reason of disability, from submitting an application for employment or from participation in University programs and activities.

Visitors

The University will provide any and all reasonable accommodations to facilitate applicants, students, employees and guests with disabilities access to and participation in University programs, events, classes and administrative activities.

In order to more adequately provide accessibility assistance, the University asks that visitors with disabilities who plan to attend events on campus contact us at ada@udallas.edu and make arrangements at aleast 72 hours before the event. The University will then be able to provide reasonable accommodations to those requesting assistance. 

Concerns

Students who complain of any alleged violations of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 or the Americans with Disabilities Act, may present their complaint to the Director of Civil Rights and Title IX, Inelda Acosta Ed.D., pHCLE, at ada@udallas.edu or 972-721-5056.
